The mission of IEA is to introduce students in middle and secondary schools to equestrian sport and competition is offered at a variety of skill levels from beginner to advanced.

The unique aspect of IEA competitions, both at the local and national levels, is that none of

the riders supply their own horses or tack. The show host provides the horses and

equipment, and riders choose their mounts by a random draw on the morning of the

show.

Through the IEA, students have the opportunity to earn scholarships towards their college

education. They will be exposed to national college scholarship recruitment to Division I

and II NCAA schools and non-scholarship athletic recruitment to Division III schools. Additionally, student riders will gain the experience they need to compete in a sport format

that mirrors the competition format of the college Equestrian.

Are you a middle or high school student ready to show? Give us a call or email us and join us this Fall. If you are an NDA student, you can earn varsity credit as an Equestrian rider.
